Methods of Washing and Descaling of Condenser
The Air cooled scroll chiller condenser is prone to scale formation after long-term using. If it is not washed of in time, the incrustation scale will affect the effect of heat-change , resulting in an increase in the condensing temperature of the chiller, which will result in a decrease in cooling capacity and an increase in chiller power consumption. Therefore, the condenser should be frequently cleaned of scale.
There are three main methods for preventing and cleaning scale:
1.Mechanical descaling method: Mechanical descaling is a method of descaling a condenser of a steel cooling pipe with a soft shaft washer, and is particularly suitable for a vertical shell and tube condenser.
2.Chemical pickling and descaling method: The condenser is cleaned with the prepared weakly acidic descaling agent to make the scale fall off and improve the heat transfer efficiency of the condenser.
3. Electromagnetic water descaling method: The working principle of the electronic magnetic water device is that with the forms of a positive and negative ion state at normal temperature to dissolve calcium, magnesium and other salts in the cooling water flowing through the condenser
